Versace for H&M’s collection is finally here and draws on influences from the heritage of the iconic fashion house. Bringing designer wear into the more modest realms of clothing expenditure, this collaboration allows otherwise unaffordable attire into our own wardrobes. Available from November and perfectly timed for Christmas. Thank you Versace!

Joan Miró’s Retrospective - Tate Modern - Sept 11

An incredible collection of work by one of the most influential Surrealist painters of modern art. The show was held in 13 rooms and ranged from his early works of the 1920’s through to the late 1970’s. I was not fussed about Miró before this show, just seeing him as another Surrealist artist and this being a movement I was not as interested in, however, I’d definitely recommend going to this exhibition before it leaves the Tate and see for yourself why this artist is so widely celebrated.

Angelika Arendt - ohne Titel, 2007

Semiconductor is artist duo Ruth Jarman and Joe Gerhardt. Through moving image works they explore the material nature of our world and how we experience it, questioning our place in the physical universe. Worlds in the Making is an epic three channel moving image work that explores how we observe, experience and create an understanding of the physical origins of the world around us. By appropriating the tools and processes of volcanology to re-interpret the primordial landscapes of our volcanic planet, Semiconductor create a world slightly removed from the one we think we know, disrupting our every day assumptions of reality and questioning how science affects our experience of the natural world.
Go see their exhibition, ‘Solar Systems’ where three moving image works explore the mechanics of observing the Sun, from the vantage point of the Earth to our orbit in outer space.
The show is in Brighton from Sept 3rd to Oct 16th at Phoenix Studios.
